Supporting Education, Strengthening Communities

As part of Lethabong Lifestyle Estate’s continued commitment to youth development and education, the estate is extending its CSI focus through a new education initiative linked to Phase 4.3 and future phases launched in 2026. This initiative reflects Lethabong’s belief that building a community goes beyond providing homes. It also means investing in the families who will shape the future of that community.

Through this initiative, 10 qualifying future residents who purchase in Phase 4.3 or future qualifying phases launched and sold in 2026 will be selected to have their child’s school education supported for one year by Lethabong Lifestyle Estate. The initiative forms part of Lethabong’s broader drive to uplift families, encourage access to education and contribute meaningfully to the next generation. Eligible sales must be bankable and successfully convert to registration, with private school contributions capped at the equivalent value of a Model C government school.

Empowering Education through
Live-In Matric Camps

Set Square Developments, in collaboration with Lethabong, has taken the lead in managing a vital CSI project aimed at improving education for Sehopotso Secondary School in Johannesburg’s Sedibeng West District. Focused on boosting matric pass rates, the initiative supports live-in camps where learners stay at the school during exam periods. These camps provide a stable environment free from the challenges many learners face at home, such as lack of electricity and nutritious meals. This initiative has already led to a significant improvement in the pass rate, from 52.07% in 2022 to 83.8% in 2023.

Transforming Futures with Live-In Learning Support

In addition to providing study materials, food, and compensating staff for overtime, the project plays a crucial role in creating a space for learners to focus on their studies. The program’s success has inspired hopes for even greater improvements, with a goal of achieving a 100% pass rate. Set Square and Lethabong see this initiative as part of a larger movement to empower underprivileged learners, and they are committed to its continued success.
